Our journey began with a vision from our founder, Lucy, to create a place where children can thrive, explore, and develop essential life skills through play-based experiences.
With a PhD in Biological Science, Lucy enjoyed a fulfilling career as a scientific researcher, focusing on the molecular mechanisms of cancer progression and the discovery of potential therapeutic targets. However, as a mother of two, Lucy came to recognise the profound impact the early years have on a child’s development and lifelong success.

Her passion for nurturing and supporting children’s holistic development led her to transition into Early Childhood Education in 2022. Since then, Lucy has worked in various roles across multiple childcare centres, gaining hands-on experience in the field. She is now nearing the completion of her qualifications as an Early Childhood Teacher.

Lucy is deeply committed to providing a high-quality, nurturing, and enriching learning environment at Little Big People Early Learning Centre. She strives to ensure that every child receives the best care and educational experience, fostering their growth during these critical early years.
