Stay Positive About Goodbyes

A favourite toy or blanket from home can help. It reminds your child of you. Ask staff if they have a policy on comfort items.

Keep goodbyes short and happy. Don’t sneak away. Tell your child you will come back. Children settle faster when parents are positive.

Bring spare clothes, nappies, and any food your child needs. Label everything with your child’s name. Ask us for a full packing list.
